Ann Mary lives with her father in a remote village in Uganda. Her mother died when she was very young. Her father is a farmer and his crop yield is very poor and which leave them just enough to consume. Life is very difficult for this family as her father cannot find any other work. Ann Mary hopes to be a hotel chef. She is currently not in school due to financial hardship. She enjoys netball and singing.
Pockets of Promise is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt social justice charitable organization dedicated to changing the lives of poor children around the world through education and proper nutrition. We are headquartered in Atlanta, GA with centers currently in Africa and Asia. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects. Contributions which exceed the needs of the given project will go to fund similar pressing needs.
