Pockets of Promise is an international non-profit organization co-founded by Adwoa Adu Acquah, Ernest Otumi and Henry Narh in 2013. Our mission is to heal impoverished communities by providing essentials to children and their families so they can thrive. We are active in Ghana, Uganda, and India and are energetically engaged in causes such as nutrition, education, healthcare, and women empowerment.

Yes, we value the relationship between sponsor and child. We provide full freedom in the child you choose and keep you updated on real-time improvements and growth in the child’s life.

Yes, our robust donor management system accepts payments from within and outside the US. The donations are accepted in US dollars, and all donors receive an acknowledgement for their contributions.These contributions are tax-deductible in the US; however, if you live outside the US, please consult your tax advisor to find out what types of tax deductions are available in your country.

Your tax-deductible sponsorship of 35 USD per month will provide nutritional, educational, and medical care for your sponsored child. We offer some suggested amounts for specific programs along with a custom amount for one-time donations.

 

Thanks to our founding members’ financial pledges which fund our administrative and overhead costs, 100% of the donation you make go towards supporting our programs.

We encourage a long term commitment to ensure support for the child and the growth of the sponsor-child relationship but we understand financial situations change which might affect your ability to continue with your commitment.

Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to add to your work experience and personal development while contributing to changing lives of children around the world. Please submit your information on our Volunteer page and a member of our team will contact you about your interest.

Yes — please log into your account and use the Send a Message feature to send a custom message to the child you have sponsored.

Yes — we encourage communication and would be happy to see you share the connection you have developed with your sponsored child.

Most of the children do not have mailing addresses. If you would like to send a gift, please contact us and we will give you the address to our field office to send your gift there. Your gift will be given to your sponsored child and we will share pictures and videos with you.

You can make a donation and the money will be given directly to your sponsored child’s family to be used for something that will benefit him or her.

To ensure timely and meaningful updates we provide quarterly reports on progress of the sponsored child.

It’s so easy! Log into your account and easily make your change. If you don’t have an account, please email us at donations@thebridge.vision. if we receive your change prior to the month’s processing deadline, we can make the change effective for that month. If not, it’ll take effect the next month.
