Puja was born in India, and moved to the United States at the age of 11. She completed her Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences and Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of South Alabama. She has been practicing as a Physician Assistant .

Abena Ankrah works in Washington, D.C. managing a department of more than thirty employees within the intellectual property department of a multi-state law firm with Fortune 500 clients.
She’s married with three children and resides in Virginia with her family.

JoAnne Owens had successful careers in both banking and banking and nonprofit leadership. Her specialty was finance and operations. Now retired, she and her husband travel full time in a motorhome. JoAnne works in the areas of accounting and organization improvement.
Pockets of Promise is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt social justice charitable organization dedicated to changing the lives of poor children around the world through education and proper nutrition. We are headquartered in Atlanta, GA with centers currently in Africa and Asia. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects. Contributions which exceed the needs of the given project will go to fund similar pressing needs.
