Lordina lives with her mother and her two siblings in the Effia-Kwesimintsim District in the Western Region of Ghana. Lordina is helpful and loves to help her mom to cook. She enjoys learning and reading. Lordina’s life has been challenging since her dad passed away, making her mom the sole income provider. Her mother has a small business where she prepares and sells food and is finding it difficult to provide for her family.
Pockets of Promise is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt social justice charitable organization dedicated to changing the lives of poor children around the world through education and proper nutrition. We are headquartered in Atlanta, GA with centers currently in Africa and Asia. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects. Contributions which exceed the needs of the given project will go to fund similar pressing needs.
